Our cheese is produced under the Westcountry farmhouse cheddar PDO (protected designation of origin) and our production facilities pass the rigorous standards of the British Retail Consortium as well as the individual audit requirements of our retail customers.
Soil association accreditation for the production of organic cheese and butter.
What’s more our farm is accredited under the Red Tractor farm assurance scheme to give you complete confidence in our products – from our cows to your table.

Meet the team
Ron McCann - Quality Manager
Ron is our Quality Manager so he’s responsible for making sure that every product leaves the farm tasting exactly as it should. He is a particular favourite with the farm dogs as he always makes sure they get a walk every day. Ron enjoys the variety in his job as well as the daily challenge of meeting the high level of expectations from our customers. Outside of Brue, Ron is a keen wildlife photographer and does conservation work for the Hawk and Owl Trust as well as enjoying sport. His favourite Brue product is our Vintage Cheddar.
