Our Family Farm
Nestled in the heart of Somerset, a stones throw from Glastonbury Tor you will find Brue Valley where the Clapp family have farmed the land since 1538.
Four family members still have active roles on the farm – Bob, his brother Simon, son Rob & daughter Natalie. Having evolved from Farmhouse Cheese making we now create Artisan Butter & Mozzarella with milk from our happy herd. This is all supported by a small but dedicated team.

Rob oversees all aspects of the farm, crops, machinery and most importantly – the cows.
(He’s not a fan of his own image).
Whilst we’re in the process of creating a new film of the up-to-the-minute bells-and-whistles techniques used to make our cheese and butter it’s good to remember where we came from. Here’s a film from the archives…
